Photographer Brendan Fitzpatrick has been living and shooting in Singapore for the last 7 years. These floral X-rays were the result of radiology experiments, which ended with help from a radiography lab in Singapore that assisted him with the use of a digital X-ray system. A few rounds of image editing and colour correction later, you have beautiful pictures worthy for any desktop. Not too artsy is it.
Rumoured nights
Here’s me at 3.35pm, taking a much-needed breather from the last week. We’ve been moving into our new place recently, and there’s so much to do, so much to buy and so much to clean. Today all our furniture from Ikea arrived, and I can’t wait to set it all up so that we can transform our apartment into a home. Furniture shopping is super stressful, especially when you’ve got to get it all in one trip. No room for errors, which is why I had to specially call my dad in Singapore to ask him if I should get a double bed or a single. Bed sizes in Australia are so different from the ones back home (Single, super single, queen and king – too easy!) so I had a tough time deciding. I’m happy with the way things are turning out though, and really pray that we will not have to move out after our 6month lease is over. It is not worth the moving costs and stress! I also can’t waitttttt to invite people over and not have them help us move or fix stuff, but to hang out!
Andddd my parents are coming tomorrowwww! I’m super excited!!!!!!!! x
I carry you in my heart
I Surrender
Like a rushing wind
Jesus breathe within
Lord have Your way
Lord have Your way
In me
Like a mighty Storm
Stir within my soul
Lord have Your way
Lord have Your way
In me
Sashimi and Shreds
Last night, we went to Masuya for dinner. I’m a massive fan of Japanese food. For some reason my fear of raw food/the possibility of getting worms (and then a tumour – thank you discovery channel) doesn’t extend to salmon sashimi.
Masuya has some of the best Jap food I’ve tasted in Sydney. And the service is excellent! They even serve their water catered to your gender lol girls with straws, boys without. Unfortunately we were so hungry/greedy we didn’t think to take pictures of their wagyu beef and masuya hot pot until we were almost done. And who can resist hot sakae?
